In this district of Emsland, it is employed more than 700 people on a total area of 87 ha it currently produced approx. 20.000 vehicle units a year. The programme includes semi trailers, swap systems, trailers, and motor vehicle superstructures.

In1960´s the plant was initially built in order to supply the Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone until 1973, when the production of trailers and semi trailers began. Meanwhile the plant in Werlte came to be Europe’s biggest production facilities for semi trailers.
